Screw Elements & Kneading Elements
Material: AISI D2 Steel, Vacuum Hardened, Plasma Nitrided and Cryogenic treated, Ground Finished. Interchangeable screws are mounted on a pre toughened shaft. The screw elements are of different pitch & shape for feeding, conveying mixing and kneading.

Gear box
Three Stage Helical Gears for High Torque & Low Maintenance. All driving gears are Helical (hardened and ground) gears run on taper roller, deep groove ball bearings, graphite-bushing bearings for higher torque. The gearbox is provided with continuous circulating oil lubricating system and Tandem Bearing Thrust Pack to take care of reverse thrust load. On Special request Imported Gear boxes are also offered.

Temperature Control Panel

PID /`J' type temperature controllers with 3 set points : 09 zone
For barrel : 10 zone
For adaptor & die : 1 zone
PLC option also available

Side Feeder and Volumetric Feeders and Low Set-point Temperature controls are interlocked with Main Drive. Thermocouples, Insulated heaters, Ampere meters, Main RYB indicating switches, MCB/ELCB protected panels

 

Volumetric Feeder

Volumetric Feeder is provided for loading of raw material indirectly through Auger Volumetric feeder, which controls the production tuned with main screw RPM. Volumatric Feeder PMDC gear motor Drive. Twin Screw Spiral type also available to handle Powder type material.

Screen Changer
Hydraulic operated Double Stage Breaker Plate with Graphite sealing for zero leakage.

Strand Die
Electro less Nickel Plated, Square flange adaptor locked with Allen-key bolts.

Air Knife (Drier)
Air Knife is Provided for moisture free Product. It is equipped with double stage turbo suction

blower and eliminator for separating air & water 1.5 Hp 2000 RPM

Pelletizer
Strand die Rotary Pelletizer/ Water Ring Die-Face
Rotary Pelletizer is equipped with rotary cutter of HSS and fix cutter of cemented Carbide. Fix cutter fine movement is flexible with the help of device. 2HP DC

Barrel
Rectangular block in segments made out of Wear Resistant Steel, Vacuum Hardened, Plasma Nitrided and Ground Finished for high speed wear resistance.

Heaters
Individual barrels are heated by Ceramic heaters (or cast heaters on request). Thermocouples for temp control are fitted on the top side. All barrel sections are provided with water-cooling actuated by solenoid valves. Each heater is controlled by PID temperature controller to effect equal temperature control on different zones of extruder.
